Anjani - Business Partners Meet

Suppliers and Logistics meets were conducted by Anjani Portland Cement Limited on the 8th and the 21st of January 2011 respectively at the corporate office in Hyderabad. The aim of the meet was to provide an interactive platform between Anjani Cements and its business partners and further renew and strengthen their relationship. The partners expressed their hope that the company would conduct more such meets in the future and pledged their continual support in the growth and prosperity of the company.

Dear Colleagues & Business Partners,

I would like to wish you all a Happy & Prosperous New Year 2011. I hope all of you along with your family members have good luck and healthy year ahead.

The year gone by has indeed taken us to next level of our operations with expansion of our capacity in the plant, new market in six states and greater momentum for brand management – internally & externally.

Some of the salient features of 2010 are:
1. Our shifting to new office with highly productive environment and starting of Anjani Studio
2. ISO certification for Anjani Products
3. Highest clinker production in any month – December 2010
4. Highest dispatch of cement in a single day 3018 tonnes – November 30, 2010
5. Highest dispatch of cement in value in any month – December 2010
6. Lowest Power Consumption for clinker production on any day
7. Bulk movement of cement by rake 8. Starting Rural Training College BVRICT, etc

While we feel happy about these achievements, our challenges for 2011 are also need to be addressed. Cement capacity and demand gap will continue to be large in 2011 also and this will result in pressure in market. Political instability in the state will be another factor which we need to consider.

Anjani Cement Website Launch

The newly improved website of Anjani Cement www.anjanicement.com was officially launched at our corporate office today by the CMD Mr. K.V. Vishnu Raju.

Civil Engineering Students Visit to Anjani Factory

Given an opportunity, it is our company's genuine intention to impart practical experience to the students. This would enhance the perception of the industry and the product and the students would also gain overall exposure on the entire cement manufacturing process. On the 18th of September 2010, 60 civil enginnering students of Sri Vasavi Institutute of Engineering and Technology, Nandamuru have visited our factory.

Plant Inauguration of Line II- another great milestone in Anjani's History

Anjani Cement Expansion Program (line II) was inaugurated on 24th of March 2010 with Commencement of the Plant Operations. The expansion program has been executed and completed in a record time to produce 0.7 million tons of cement. This is one of the fastest cement expansions done in the state of Andhra Pradesh. With this expansion Anjani Cement's annual cement production has increased to 1.2 Million Tons Per Annum.

Anjani Cement donates One Crore

APCL is the first company to come forward and donate rupees one crore worth of cement to the government of Andhra Pradesh, for construction of houses to the rural poor in the East Godavari, West Godavari and Nalgonda districts.

ISO 9001 : 2008 Certification

 

We are very happy to inform that Anjani Portland Cement Limited has an established Quality Management System for Manufacturing and Supply of Cement and an audit has been conducted by the world renowned Certification Agency TUV – SUD group and certified ISO 9001:2008 Certification to our company.

 

This is one of the happiest and proudest moments and a landmark in Anjani’s journey. With this certification, there will be systematized and documented activities and the system will be audited periodically to ensure that there is continuous improvement. There will also be continuous improvement in the Quality, which will be consistent in every supply.
