Anjani Portland Cement Limited (APCL) is a decade old company with a proud Legacy of Cement to display. The genesis of Anjani was inspired and motivated by the pioneer in cement industry Padma Bhushan Dr. BV Raju (former chairman of Cement Corporation of India), who has been instrumental in the growth of cement industry in India, especially Andhra Pradesh. Trained and sculpted by this cement luminary, the architects of APCL have built its organizational structure on a very strong pedestal of infrastructure, technology, experienced human resource and strong social commitment.

A take ­ over of an ailing company called M/S Shez Cement Pvt. Ltd. in 1999 set the beginning of the onerous journey to the top. The first batch of clinker produced after the takeover stood up to all set quality norms. After the initial hitches and subsequent advancement in infrastructure, Anjani tread the growth path.
